When you hear the words mental illness what do you think? Does mental illness have a particular “face”? Do you think of someone who expresses abnormal behaviors? Do you think of someone who looks out of sorts? Do the words “strange” or “odd” come to mind? Many of us believe mental illness has a “look.”
Honesty is always the best policy. I remember completing Beyond the Building: The War Within and thinking to myself, “Great, you can take a breather before you work on the study guide.” This series has been in the making for several years, so I wanted to celebrate its completion.
For at least four years, I had a secret beef with God. I was upset with our infertility journey. I was angry I had to keep sharing the love of Jesus when I was mad God didn’t answer our prayers.
I love Dr. Tony Robinson and thank God for a conversation she had with me recently. Fix this relationship. Settle this score. Defend the seemingly helpless. God did create me to be concerned, but He did not ask me to do His job.
