This year, I have found myself looking for peace in adversity. My journey has led me to be more mindful of my personal habits. For example, I notice that I have been checking my Smart Phone more often. I want to know what is going on with those I love, what is going on in the world, and I want to see what will happen next.
Have you been wondering why you were born during this time? With news of wars, rumors of war, human intolerance, social unrest and disquiet all around us it makes us think. You might even question, “What am I still doing here. Come get me God!”
Sometimes hope appears to be an elusive term. How can we find hope in the darkness? How can we find strength to endure? Without the details, simply know I understand. I have asked similar questions, cried out to God, and even battled with thoughts of, “Will this ever get any better?”
You might have felt like you would succumb to the rain. You might even have felt like the heat would never cease. In spite of it all, despite of what your senses said, you have grown stronger and more resilient.
