This week I created a not fair list to God. Believe it or not, the list was not my idea. I was staring at a blank sheet of paper and then heard pretty clearly, “Write your list.” For those of you who are wondering if God spoke with a booming voice or with a thunderous sound as in the Ten Commandments movie, He did not.
We can never eliminate rejection from our lives, but we can change our perspective on it. We must point people to God, who shows us that he cares for us.
Do you see God as Father? I would be able to tell based on your prayer life. From experience, difficult times reveal what we believe. I learned that my perspective of God was skewed. Here are a few inaccuracies I believed about God:
Being transparent as a leader is tough! Transparency means being honest when things are “not okay.” Transparency means that you have to admit that you are “vulnerable.” Transparency means that you have to be honest with yourself and allow others to see where you are now. Transparency is frightening, because many of us do not know how to be authentic.
