What our world needs most is change. I believe we all agree and desire to see authentic change in our lifetime. I have been praying about change and asking God for strategic answers. This morning, I received an answer that will encourage you to endure. In these adverse times, those that know Jesus Christ will be used to provide solutions. We must learn how to communicate in simple ways to let others know that we are not without hope.
This is the example I was given:
Think of a five dollar bill. This bill can be broken into (5) one dollar bills. The five dollar bill represents Jesus Christ. He is one man that gave His life for mankind. The one dollar bills represent the breaking of His physical body, so mankind could be restored to full communion with God. Now, take the one dollar bills and convert them into change. It is His sacrifice that brought about a change in earth. With simplicity, it just makes sense that Jesus Christ is the answer to our problems.
Why should we continue to place our trust in God? God has already seen the beginning and the end. We do not need to guess our next steps, because we can simply ask Him.
Can we trust that God is still in control during dark moments? God has a divine purpose and plan; even in the aftermath of crisis. He does not need to take human lives to be heard. However, He uses these difficult situations to provide us with wisdom to heal and to unite.
He is asking us to adhere to the wisdom in 2 Chronicles 7:14:
And my people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek (crave, require as a necessity) My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land (Amplified).
Our land needs healing and it will take all of us seeking God’s face in prayer. We must admit where we have over prioritized ourselves and minimized the value of one another. We must admit areas where we have allowed sin to rule in our actions and attitudes. In these critical times, God is calling us to come to Him. We do not need to come up with solutions based on our own logic, but we do need to adhere to Godly wisdom to heal. Remember, only God can bring lasting change. You can take this thought to the bank.
